So Many Things, So Little Time!

 
I have so many things to write about!! But oh my goodness, I need to organize all my thoughts out first. Or else you guys will get a dozen random posts like this one.

Things to get out in the open because they're bothering my brain:

I WILL get Ko's head on her body. Yes...yes I will.
I WILL finish my hw so I can make her infinity dress tonight.
I WILL take her photo tomorrow, rain or shine. Having her locked up in the house is a damn shame.
I WILL take a photo of Chuva tomorrow, for Choco. <3
I WILL start feeling better ; A ; I hate feeling sick for no reason. I am not sick! Body, stop acting like it!

Also, some cool stuff happened.

Ordered some new dolls ^^
Received some dolls since my last post ^^

I WILL redo biographies and family tree drawings etc etc D8

Time to get my hobby organized before my dollies attack me.

Bitten by the Bitty Bitsu

It's just as the title suggests.
I caved.
I bought a whtie skin 11cm Obitsu with magnets and the metal circular plate. They are just so adorable and not very expensive. I bought mine (and one for Tsu!) at http://junkyspot.com/

I think the 23cm Obitsu are adorable too o3o We shall see how the Bitty Bitsu goes and if I completely love it xD My Vinyl Bunch might appreciate one more for company. I'm so very tempted to make Diana's human from Sailor Moon xD Though I'm not sure where I'm going to find her lovely shade of grey hair that is nice and long enough for me to style in odango ^^;

So anyway, back on the subject of the Bitty's!

My girl will be named Switczh Blayde, and will love along with Raezr in her Manor. I gave her a small room in Raezr's castle house. I think she'll be comfortable there. Especially since she seems to be shorter than Raezr. Rae needed the largest room because of her height xD

Switczh is getting a Parabox Cocco head, purple hair from Monstro, and grey eyes I found on the Junkyspot website. The head says it takes 12mm eyes, but they look horribly big to me. I took a $7 gamble on some 10mm ones. Hopefully they fit well enough. ^^;

Anxious Anxious Anxious!

Yes, Anxious.
Because I'm waiting for a doll to come in. I think I'm only about half way through the wait, but you know how it goes o3o The second half is always the hardest for me, because you really never know. The doll could be finished ahead of schedule....or extremely behind schedule! D8

Leekeworld Limited Edition Clarice

She is a limited doll, but the only limited thing I added to the order was an Ocean Blue wig. No outfits. No fox ears. No make up. She's expensive with all that stuff! > <;
So this is Chuva Oceano. (Choo-vah Oh-che-ah-no) She has large blue (hopefully) eyes and pretty blue hair. She loves to sing and aspires to be a Pop Star, but sometimes her own girlish sensitivities and insecurities get in her way! She's very sweet and bubbly, and is completely weak against pretty clothes ^^

I have about 2 weeks left in my estimated wait time xDDD Hopefully, it won't be much more than that. Look at her pretty face ; A ; <3

The Birth of my Mori Girl

Okay, so I've seen Mori Girls in the magazines here in Okinawa before, but I didn't really know what it was all about. (I can't read ; A ;) I would look at them and go "Oh, cool! I wouldn't wear it, but it's super cute!" kind of thing.

I learned last night what the whole Mori fashion was all about and I knew it would be perfect for my girl Yuki! (She lives in the forest, after all!) Plus she's got an immature body. With all those lovely layers of vintage fabrics, I can pass her off as older because her body type won't really show through. It's a win win and a perfect fit to her personality :D

• This doll underwent a big change also. Pavel was previously Thalia. I had these two planned out before I bought them. When they were ordered I asked for two girls. When I got them, KiKi was sent to me with a boy body accidentally. Another funny thing was I ordered wigs from them around the time I ordered them from a different company. The long wig I ordered for Thalia was out of stock, and I ordered a short one instead, because it was the only other wig that matched Yulie's wig in color. Anyways, the longer I had Thalia the more it grew on me that this doll was a boy. I even redid the faceup with beautiful thick lashes, and it just screamed BOY!!! at me. lol. SO, Thalia is now Pavel and I admit I really like the change :D

Kotoro Nalani Erinome - Angel of Dream Tan Qi Elf Girl

• As of today, I'm still waiting on this girl to be finished. I ordered her on Feb 10th and am super anxious for her to get here. She'll be my only SD sized doll and I think she'll be really fun to sew for and take pictures of. :D I"m a little anxious to do a face up on a tanned doll, as the sealant could possibly cloud her face to look whiter than it really is, so I'll make sure she gets a nice, light, natural look so I don't have to use so many layers :D
• Kotoro is just and kind, but can be very firm when she needs to be. She is proper and beautiful and head over heels in love with her soulmate who shall not be named here xD

Adelle Lucette Deshoulieres-Siofra - FairyLand Minifee Chloe Vampire Elf Girl

• My biggest change. Adelle's new and improved, more mature character, has been re-dolled. She no longer has her mortal name, as her doll (LUCKILY!!) is a VAMPIRE doll :D Most of my doll people don't know that Adelle is actually a vampire. The doll version of her was meant to mimic her mortal self before she was turned. NOW, I get to make the version of her I am most fond of. Adelle was recently married to Ingel, and I hope that he's able to be added to the Doll Family as well (hopefully owned by my bf Tsu ^^ one day <3 ) I keep forgetting Ingel's last name too orz, so Adelle's name will be hyphenated since they're married now ^^ (edit: Ingel's last name is Siofra)

My next blog will talk about future dolly plans. Tsu included, since our families are very much intertwined 8D <3 Also, in the future, once all the dolls look as they should, I'll be working on character sheets and such ^^ <3

Yeah That's It!

Hey you guys :)

Sorry for the lack of updating the blog! I got really busy with school and didn't really keep an account of my dolly activities. However, I have some pics to share with you :D Though I've been quiet, I've still been indulging in the hobby :)

First, I made my first pair of tiny jeans. They were a bit fiddly because they are soooo small (2 1/2 inches from the top of the waist to the hem on the leg) plus, the legs are about as big around as a #2 pencil. Flipping them inside out and such was definitely interesting!! However, I'm very proud of them. :D I wish I could make them a little tighter to fit her body better, but I don't think I can physically sew something smaller than that in denim.

I thought her outfit was so cute, I decided to make Adelle a similar outfit :D

I plan to take them both outside and take some photos in natural light. I was hoping to do that today, but I was too tired to set up a spot on the porch and all that. I ended up napping when my son decided he was going to take his nap xD (His naps are a great time for playing with dolls!)

So, not only did I sew those two some outfits, I made shirts for Thalia and Yulie, AS WELL as completely redoing their faceups. They look so much better now :D

Miss Raezr Gets A Makeover!

Miss Raezr came to me the day before Comic Con. I couldn't leave her at home,I decided she'd tag along! So, she needed to be ready and dressed to impress!

"What do we have here?"

"I'm making you a dress out of some cute ribbon from the 100 yen store."
"I hope you know what you're doing!"
"Me too!" o_o;;

I cut a piece of ribbon by wrapping it around her waist, so that I could have the right length. I made it have a bit of an overlap so I'd have room to sew in a closure. I cut the second piece about an inch longer and ruffled it along the bottom, so it would look fuller. I pinned it in place and sewed the two pieces together. (Ignore the eye putty, my son tried to grab it, so moved it tow here he couldn't get it...right in front of me lol!)

"I'm ready to try it on!"

"I'm not ready for you to try it on!"

"Well hurry up!" o3o;

After the first two pieces were sewn together, I cut another piece that was a tad longer than the second, and basically did the same thing. So now there are three tiers of ruffles on the dress!

I unfortunaly didn't take a pic of the next step! (Sorry!)
After I was happy with the three tiers of ribbons, I roughly (on purpose) cut a piece of sheer red fabric and folded it in half lengthwise. I cut it really long at first and hand sewed a basting stitch across the top, just under the fold. When the stitch was done, I pulled the fabric to one side to create a ruffle. I laid it under the black ribbon and pinned it in place, then cut the edges off of either side. Then I laid it across Raezr to see how it was coming a long.

Raezr is holding the dress in place, trying it on for size.

"I think so too! It's time to finish it up!"

I took it off of her and sewed the sheer fabric to the black ribbon at the top, and at the waist. After I get some closures, I'll sew more of the back together. But for now, it's pinned to her in the back with a straight pin. ^_^;

BONUS SHOTS!!! 8DD

I love the original faceup that Ashely did on this little girl, but it was a bit pale for my liking. So, I enhanced it with additional blushing to her face (and body) and the addition of eyeliner, a stronger lip color, and some eyelashes. <3 <3 She's perfect :3
